Human Rights And Human Responsibilities
Human Rights And Human Responsibilities
by David Chanley
I think that I think. These thoughts are my own. I think I am comfortable here. Where is here? What am I? Time to dream again.
I can wiggle. There is a bag of liquid down there. I'll play soccer with it.
What is happening? I'm getting squished. I see a tunnel of light. I'm moving toward the tunnel of light. I'm getting squished!
It is very bright but colder on this side of the tunnel. I don't like it as much.
We start existing in this existence. We get born. We notice we are a mind with a body. We may even notice a spirit to go along with it. Often overlooked are the human rights we are also born with. Our bodies are ours. Our thoughts and minds are ours. Our spirits are ours. Our human rights are also ours. Our human rights are part of our beings just like our bodies are. Our human rights are a natural part of our existence. We have our human rights until something tries to deny us our rights. We have our human rights until something tries to take our rights away from us.
Without anything to take our rights away from us, we all would always have all our rights. We only become lacking in some rights because something took them away from us. With nothing to take our rights away from us, we all would always have all our rights. Human rights are ours to begin with. Human rights are a natural part of our being.
We find ourselves in a society. Lots of different people have to get along together. Hopefully, that is for everyone's mutual benefit. For everyone to get along with everyone more harmoniously different understandings are understood. Different people form different social circles. Different masses of people form different societies. Different societies make different rules.
You make something you own it. I sharpen a stick. I own the spear. I make a straw hat. I own the straw hat. Everyone who makes something owns what they make. You made yourself with the help of your parents. You own yourself.
Rights come with corresponding responsibilities. Parental rights come with parental responsibilities. All rights come with their corresponding responsibilities. All responsibilities come with the corresponding rights. Rights and responsibilities go together like the north pole and the south pole of a magnet. Parental responsibilities go with the rights to be a parent and guardian including providing for the offspring so "it" can grow "itself". The offspring also has rights and responsibilities.
Human rights are part of our being. Human responsibilities are part of our being. All humans are naturally endowed with human rights and human responsibilities. Human rights and human responsibilities are part of being human. Humans make themselves. Parental responsibilities provide the offspring with the necessary resources and guidance. Humans make themselves. Humans own themselves.
Individuals can make things. If someone needs help making something they can share ownership of what they make. Or, the maker can contract with the helper to "buy" from them what they provide. A person can make a boat. Lots of people may have provided materials. The builders can buy the rights to the materials when they buy the materials. The builder can buy the labor of the people working on the project. Friends can donate their time and effort. The builder can be the sole owner of the boat.
If you are in a group that makes something your group owns it. We could make a feast. We would own the feast. We can make something more complicated. We can make a car. Our team that made the car would own the car as a team.
To make that easier and to also better manage the team, the team could become a company. The team that made the company owns what they made. The team that made the company owns the company.
For everyone to get along with everyone more harmoniously different understandings are understood. We find ourselves in this existence. To get along more harmoniously we can create various social structures. To get along more harmoniously we can create the government. The collective of humans created the government. The collective of humans owns the government. We The People created the government. We The People own the government.
The collective of humans made the government. The individuals are not governed by the government. The society is governed by the government. The collective of humans that made the government are the owners and operators of the government. Each individual owns their share in the government just like each owner of a company owns their share of the company. The collective of humans that made government as a team can delegate selected representatives to operate the government that the people own. Government is just another type of company that the people who created it own. Government is just another type of company that We The People own.
Some try to steal from the collective of humans the operation of the government. Some try to steal from the collective of humans the ownership of government. Using the stolen government the thieves can steal the public’s resources and the public’s property. Using the stolen government the thieves can steal the public funds. Using the stolen government the thieves can award themselves unfair advantages. Using the stolen government the thieves can give their competition unfair disadvantages. Using the stolen government the thieves can even try to steal our human rights.
Using the stolen government the government thieves do try to steal people's natural human rights. Using the stolen government the government thieves do try to claim the government owns the collective of humans. We The People must not allow such theft from the collective of humans. It is our responsibility to see that the theft of our human rights does not happen. It is our responsibility to see that the theft of our government does not happen. It is our responsibility to correct such wrongs as immediately as they begin to become apparent.
The thieves who try to steal government from the collective of humans that made the government may also try to steal the human rights of the people. The government that the collective of humans made and own can be improperly used as a tool for trying to take the rights of the people away from them. The government that the collective of humans made and own can be improperly used as a tool for trying to take the collectively owned property of the people away from them.
The government that the collective of humans made and own also has responsibilities. Those responsibilities of the government correspond with very few rights. The government was only given by its creators the limited rights necessary for the government to fulfill the functions it was created to fulfill. Being owned by We The People who created the government is the nature of government. The government has the responsibility to be the servant of the collective of people who own the government.
To protect our rights we may want to reassure our ownership of the government. Rather than just having a right to vote it probably would be better to issue each legal adult in the voting area one non-transferable voting share of the government which that group collectively owns. That share would expire when the human expires. That share would expire when that person is no longer living in that voting area. We The People created government. We The People own the government. The government is just another type of company. We The People should get more recognition for being the owners of the government. We The People should each get our one non-transferrable voting share of the type of company that government is.
That direct ownership of the government by We The People should foster better custodianship over the government by the collective of people. That direct ownership of the government by We The People should foster better protection of our natural human rights. That direct ownership of the government by We The People should foster better management of our collectively owned public property. Better custodianship of the government from each person owning their voting share of the government would also result in better custodial management to stop all pollution.
Companies issue dividends to their shareholders. The dividends are the share's share of the profits. The management of all the different types of public property also produces incomes from rents, royalties, dividends and interest. The section of government responsible for managing the public property should be sending everyone their dividend from the profit from the income that the assets of the public property have produced. Everyone should be getting their share of the profits that the public property generates, just like every shareholder gets their share of the profits a company generates. Everyone should be getting their share of the profits that the public property generated as their "basic guaranteed income". The public property is everyone's shared asset. Everyone deserves their share of the profits that their assets produce.
Giving the legal citizens their voting share of the government stops the thieves from stealing the human rights of the humans. Giving the legal citizens their voting share of the government stops the thieves from stealing the public property which are the assets that are shared by all members of society. That better management also better protects our property from pollution. Giving the legal citizens their voting share of the government also stops the thieves from stealing the income that the public property generates. Giving citizens their voting share in the government assures that the voter rolls are comprised of all the legal voters. All companies do that. The government should have to do that too. Government is just another type of company that we all have collectively created. Government is just another type of company that we all collectively own.
We let corrupt people steal our collective property and our human rights by letting them steal the operation of our government. These corrupt people should be thrown in jail for that crime rather than having people comply with their criminal demands.
Having natural human rights is the nature of humans. The natural rights of humans are endowed by their creator. Depending on your beliefs that could be a self-creation or an extra-worldly creator. Depending on your beliefs humans answer to themselves or an extra-worldly creator. The government answers to the collective of humans who created and own the government. Government answers to We The People.
The right to own yourself is your own. Only the failure to maintain the corresponding responsibilities can result in the legitimate loss of a right. You have the right to be free. But, if you violate others you could go to jail. Violating others is a lack of responsibility that can result in the loss of the corresponding rights. The fundamental human rights to personal ownership exist because you make yourself. Nobody else made you. You have the responsibility to live with the results you got from the self you made when you made yourself. Your parents have the responsibility to provide you with resources and guidance. Thus, they have the corresponding parental rights as your guardian.
Property rights naturally belong to the creator of the property. Should someone create a birth certificate they own that piece of paper. They do not own the human being that the paper describes. The human being owns itself. What the creator creates belongs to the creator unless other contractual arrangements have been made. Buying materials and labor contracts are ways of determining transfers of ownership. If a birth certificate is anything more than just a means for collecting census data for the issuance of the share of government upon attaining legal age then all the other things are frauds and are null and void.
Humans naturally have human rights and human responsibilities. Businesses belong to those who created them. The government belongs to the collective of humans that created it. The government belongs to the collective of humans who inherited it. When we die our heirs inherit what we owned. When we die our heirs inherit our government. The government is owned by We The People.
To protect our human rights and our collectively owned public property every legal human in the voting district should be given their one non-transferable share of the government. That share would exist as long as they do. The not-yet of legal age under the legal guardianship of legal guardians do not yet have a share of the government. Their legal guardians share their share with them.
Treating government like just another company that we collectively own because we collectively created it will likely cause us to elect better managers. Treating government like just another company that we collectively own because we collectively created it will likely cause us to elect less corrupt managers. Business managers have more responsibility to their company and shareholders. Government managers should also have a similar responsibility to the shareholders of the government. Issuing voting shares in the government would better protect our human rights and our collectively owned public property. Issuing voting shares in the government would result in better management of the government. Issuing voting shares in the government would result in better management of our society.
When we die and decay our stardust returns to dust. Our soul or spirit moves on. Our human rights remain. Rights are eternal, like our soul. Rights are part of our soul that makes us human. Don't let anyone take your soul. Don't let anyone take your human rights. Maintain your human responsibilities. Don't let your servant that you own take your rights.
Stop letting the oligarchs rob your human rights, your government and our public property.
It is our responsibility to see that the theft of our government does not happen.
It is our responsibility to see that the theft of our human rights does not happen.
It is our responsibility to see that the theft of our public property does not happen.
